_We Can't Afford Not To Pray!

2 Chronicles 7:14-15

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.


IF something is going to happen here in Coalinga it’s got to begin with you and I. if my people…it’s IF my people.  God wants to move here in Coalinga--its contingent upon IF.

IF we humble ourselves…..IF we pray….IF we seek his face….IF you and I do the first three IF’S….It makes the fourth IF that much easier.  It’s easier to turn from our wicked ways IF we do the first three IF’S.  Let’s HUMBLE OURSELVES, Let’s PRAY, Let’s SEEK HIS FACE, Let’s TURN AWAY FROM SIN.

THEN God hears from heaven, THEN God forgives our sins, THEN God WILL HEAL OUR LAND.  You and I CAN’T afford NOT to pray. 

Great things happen when you and I bind together in prayer.  REVIVALS are first birthed in the prayer room.  The Queen of England feared the prayers of John Hyde more than any Army in the then known world.  Praying Hyde he was called, his near-violent prayers and supplications, “Give me souls, oh God, or I die.”  THAT THE devil WOULD FEAR THE PRAYERS OF NEW LIFE TABERNACLE...


1 Timothy 2:1-4

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications , prayers , intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

FIRST OF ALL….SUPPLICATIONS, PRAYERS, INTERCESSIONS, AND GIVING OF THANKS, BE MADE….  Who’s going to make them?  It’s not time to look around and expect someone else to carry the weight while we kick back. 

We fight hell in the prayer room, we bind spirits in the prayer room, victories are manifested in the prayer room, soul winners are born in the prayer room, Spiritual warriors are born in the prayer room, mighty men of God are born in a prayer room, the miraculous is wrought in the prayer room, IF the devil’s going to be put on the run it’s going to START in the prayer room. 

I pray that something is birthed in our hearts this year that makes us realize WE CAN’T AFFORD NOT TO PRAY!
