By The Time This Service Ends Tonight & We Shake Hands & Make Our Way Home, It Will Be Almost 9 Years Exactly That The Worst Week Of Our Lives Came To A Burning End.
- It Started With The Lord Telling Me That My Wife Had Lost The Child She Had Been Carrying The Last 13 Weeks. In The Very Early Hours On The 11th Of April The Lord Spoke To Me & Said, “Sara Has Lost The Baby.” It Was A Pregnancy Very Much Thought Out & Very Much Anticipated. Every One Was Excited For Us, Every One Was Rejoicing With Us. I Remember Praying & Asking The Lord To Touch My Wife. I Remember Taking My Wife To The Doctor. I Remember Telling My Son That He Was Not Going To Be A Big Brother.
- Then Came The Night Of April 14th It Was Not An Ordinary Sunday Night In Our Home Because We Were Not In Church That Night As My Wife Was Recuperating. I Was On The Phone With My Closest Friend When I Told Him I Thought My House Was On Fire. When It Was All Said & Done We Lost Everything We Had. I Remember My Mom Taking My Wife To The Hospital. I Remember Bro. Stroup Walking With Me Across The Driveway Saying, “Bob The Lord Told The devil, This Is As Far As You Can Go You Can’t Take His Life.”
Acts 14:22
22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
2 Timothy 3:12
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Romans 8:16-18
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
He Never Promised That The Cross Would Not Get Heavy, That The Hill Would Not Be Hard To Climb. He Never Promised Victory With Out Fighting. He Just Promised Us That He Would Be With Us Always Even Unto The End Of The Age.
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

We’ve Got To Trust Something….Why Not Trust His Word?
Psalms 40:4
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Psalms 62:8

Jeremiah 17:5-8
5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Proverbs 3:5-8
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Psalms 115:1-10
115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9 O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD : he is their help and their shield.
11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD : he is their help and their shield.
