God is Faithful

Why should I feel discouraged?
Why should I feel despair?
I have no temptation
That I'm not able to bear.
All the trials that I have
Are common to man.
Though I may feel I can't go on,
The Lord tells me I can.
He is faithful to His Word,
He will make a way to escape.

Some one has made it through the trial
You think you cannot face.
The devil wants to make us feel
That others have no trials.
But we cannot see inside their hearts,
They hide their hurts with smiles.
That's just part of serving God,
Everyone is being tested.
He's coming back for a tried people,
Servants who are tried and tested.
Don't you think that you are alone,
That no one understands,
Many saints have been there, too--
But still, for God, they stand.
Don't ever give up. Keep holding on.
Just hold on tight to Jesus;
Remember-someone has been there, too.
God will never leave us.
