New Year's Greetings to All our Friends and Supporters
Looking back at our busy year its hard to believe that 2013 is already here, along with all the challenges and plans to further revival in Mexico. 2012 has been a year of revivals, conferences, street services, door knocking, and Holy Ghost outpouring. We have seen victories, challenges, and even some disappointments! (Imagine that!) A huge 'thank you' to all those who have come down to preach, work, and encourage us in the work of God here in Puebla. I wish to express my deepest gratitude for your many sacrifices in 2012. We know the difficulties of the times we live in and your support is not taken for granted. Without your financial help and prayers we would be unable to bring the Acts 2:38 message to our people. Above all, we thank God for his favor and calling, for without Him nothing else matters and nothing is possible. Because of Him, we face the coming year with great hope and excitement.
One dream that has come true this past year is the founding of two grade schools for our church kids. We have 14 students and a list of children who want to attend in the following year.
One dream that has come true this past year is the founding of two grade schools for our church kids. We have 14 students and a list of children who want to attend in the following year.
There have been many churches and pastors who have helped us in this endeavor. Thank you for helping us achieve this goal. A special thanks to Pastor Sailor and the church of Coalinga, CA. They gave $5000 to get us started with our first computers, tables, printers, and curriculum. We are going full speed ahead! It is a wonderful, indescribable thing to provide these very poor children a first class education and also develop them into disciples of Jesus Christ! I want to thank my daughters, Bethany and Nicole, for carrying the burden of the school. They work at least 8 hours and day, 5 days a week and never complain. Teaching, correcting papers, and writing curriculum. Their pay? $100 a month. You must have a burden to do that! I love you girls! You are my pride and joy! ( raise is on the way)
Some highlights from the past year. It was great to have Elder Phil White and Pastor PJ White down this year. They brought about 30 young people with them and what a blessing they were. Preaching, singing, outreach, puppet shows. They came prepared to bless! Here are some pictures from that missions trip.
We recently had our end of year conference. It was called The Holy Ghost Conference. The emphasis was receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues! Several received the Holy Ghost in those 3 days. Here are some pictures of that.
And last but not least, my son Austin wants to help the school and his buddies have a new classroom. Here is what he is doing. Austin is reading the New Testament this year all the way through. Big deal you say? Well, it is a big deal to Austin and to us. You see, Austin is dyslexic and has struggled to read. Those of you who know this little genius probably can't believe it. But through hard work and persistency (his and his mother's) he is doing well. So, Austin is looking for those who will sponsor him to read the 260 chapters of the New Testament. The money will go to build the classroom. We need to complete this project before the new school year.
At .50 cents per chapter that would be $130, at $1.00 per chapter that would be $260.00 for the year. (you get the idea) Funds can also be sent through the usual route. The International Apostolic Missions in Conyers, GA. (Address below.) If you do sponsor Austin, please drop me an email at [email protected] Click Here and Follow Directions. Thank you for helping Austin and us to Reach our Goal.
